Blewiz, who began releasing music professionally in 2022, has been honing his craft for years, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Wizkid, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, 2Face, Migos, and Justin Bieber. His passion for sound stems from childhood, shaped by the rhythms and melodies that surrounded him growing up. “I’m inspired by sound because I’ve been used to it since I was a kid,” Blewiz shares.
His breakout moment came in 2022 with a cover of Oladips’ “Ajala Travel,” which amassed over 180,000 streams across digital platforms and garnered widespread praise online. “Me and My Guys,” produced by Coal J, is a freestyle born from a spontaneous studio sessionwith Blewiz and his crew.
“This is a vibe,” Blewiz says. “I wanted people to understand that I’m on this journey with my guys.”
The track blends unique lyrics and instrumentation, delivering an infectious energy that Blewiz describes simply as “a vibe.” While he takes the spotlight solo on this release, the freestyle reflects his personal experiences and serves as a message to his fans—both longtime supporters and new listeners alike.
