Nigerian student reportedly among the 77% who scored less than 200 in the 2024 UTME seeks advice on how to share the news of scoring 38 with her family.

The release of a distressing video featuring a teenage girl who scored 38 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has sparked widespread reactions.

The heart-wrenching video on TikTok captured her emotional distress as she lamented her disappointing academic performance.

Identified on the platform as @they.luvanjolaa, the student pleaded with viewers to suggest any educational institution that would accept her admission despite her low score.

Additionally, she sought advice on how to inform her family and church members, from whom she had been concealing her results.

“My life didn’t end, till I saw my “Jamb” results. Which school will accept 38 abeg? And please help me drop ways I can tell my family and church members,” she captioned the video.

Upon discovering that her husband cheated on her, woman reportedly throws her three kids off a bridge in retaliation for his infidelity.

The heartbreaking story was shared on the microblogging platform, X, by user, @miss_she_du.

The woman had gotten information about the man’s cheating and went to the hotel where he was with the other woman, making sure he knew she was there.

She didn’t confront him, just left for home and took her children to the bridge where she there them over and watched them die.

A woman caught her husband cheating. She already had 3 kids for him. She followed him to the hotel that he was and made sure he saw her. So she left the hotel without saying a word.

She went home and carried her 3 kids then threw them over the bridge into the water and left them to die.

According to the poster, she claims that the woman who committed the crime stated her killing of the children was intentional because he was much older and he will need to start over again.

The touching story unfolded as Babajide shared the news of his cousin’s UTME results on Twitter (now X).

Revealing the background behind his unconventional motivation tactic, Babajide disclosed that he had issued a challenge to his cousin, promising her plot of land if she managed to achieve a score of 300 in the examination.

It wasn’t a casual bet, however. Babajide explained that the challenge stemmed from a heartfelt appeal from his cousin’s father, who sought his assistance in motivating her to excel in her academic pursuits.

The cousin’s father reportedly sought Babajide’s assistance after his daughter scored a disappointing 170 in her previous attempt at the UTME in 2023, hoping that Babajide’s motivation tactics would inspire her to excel in her academic pursuits.

Determined to spur his cousin to reach for the stars, Babajide set the ambitious target, knowing that it would require dedication and effort on her part.

After weeks of anticipation, the moment of truth arrived when the UTME results were released.

Babajide recounted with pride how his cousin promptly messaged him on WhatsApp, accompanied by a screenshot of her scores, eagerly reminding him of their agreement.

Although she fell short of the target of 300, Babajide expressed immense satisfaction with his cousin’s achievement, affirming that she had indeed “landed among the stars.”

Her performance in the examination was certainly commendable, with scores of 70 in English, 79 in physics, 58 in biology, and 74 in chemistry, totaling an aggregate score of 281.
