One of the people that enjoyed the victory was Messi’s mother who ran into the pitch after the game to congratulate her son. Argentina won the game 4-2 on penalties after playing 3-3 after extra time.
This is the first time, Argentina will be winning the World Cup after Diego Maradona led the South Americans to glory in 1986.
