Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Mike Edwards has announced his entry into the world of professional boxing as he eagerly anticipates his debut.

On his official social media pages, the runner-up of BBNaija season 4 ecstatically announced his entry into professional boxing, joining the Cruiserweight division roster on Misfits Boxing.

He encouraged his fans and well-wishers to look forward to his in-ring debut, where he intends to showcase his skills and determination.

It is worth noting that Mike Edwards challenged his junior colleague, Pere to a boxing match last year.

Famous influencer, Korra Obidi’s ex-husband, Justin Dean mocks her as he reacts to her recent incident which landed her in the hospital.

It would be recalled that yesterday, Korra Obidi was reportedly attacked by an individual who poured her acid and tried to stab her.

A video had surfaced which showed her receiving medical attention from health experts and the police who arrived at the scene.

Korra Obidi’s husband, Justin Dean took to his social media page to react to the incident.

Justin Dean dismissed the incident as a staged act designed to get attention on social media so as to get more views from social media users.

He wrote:

“A common tactic amongst celebrities to stay relevant is to stage robberies, assault or anything else to drum up the views. This has gone too far.”

He added:

“People are blaming me and I’m tired of the crazy smear campaign from hell. Now that I defend myself, ya’ll mad. Seek Jesus”

The Actors Guild of Nigeria has stopped all film productions involving riverine areas and boat rides following the tragic boat accident that claimed the life of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, and three crew members.

The guild’s President, Ejezie Rollas, disclosed this in a circular dated April 11, 2024 and posted on social media on Thursday.

Additionally, actors are barred from participating in any film produced by Adanma Luke until further notice.

Luke is the producer of the movie titled “The other side of life,” in which Junior Pope was starring before his death.

The AGN statement read, “Following the tragic incident of a boat mishap that claimed the life of Junior Pope and three other crew members at waterside of River Niger Cable point Asaba on April 10, all films that involve riverine areas and boat riding are hereby suspended indefinitely.

“There should be no shoot on all locations nationwide on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

“The film titled ‘The other side of Life’ is suspended indefinitely.

“Also, no actor is allowed to work with Adamma Luke as a producer till further notice.

“While we keep searching for the bodies of the remaining persons, may their souls rest in peace.”

News broke on Wednesday that Junior Pope and four other crew members lost their lives in an accident while travelling by boat away from the film set.

Rollas later shared a post on his social media handle that Junior Pope survived and was receiving treatment.

He later deleted the post.
