Based on data from the Global Tourism Organisation, here are the top five most visited countries and their visitor numbers.
1. France – 89.4 million arrivals

France is the most visited country in the world, with 89.4 million tourists in 2024. Tourists come to see famous attractions like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the beautiful landscapes of Provence. France’s growth rate of 2.9% shows its continued popularity.
2. Spain – 83.7 million arrivals
Growth Rate: 0.80%
