Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis is reportedly set to return to English football from the Turkish league in the January 2024 transfer window.

According to The Athletic UK, Emmanuel Dennis is set to make his return to his former club side Watford on a loan deal from the Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir where he is currently on a season-long loan deal from Nottingham Forest.

Reports also indicate that the loan to the championship side is being sped up with Nottingham Forest agreeing to terminate his loan spell in the Turkish league.

Emmanuel Dennis who made his move on a 15 million pound deal to Nottingham Forest from Watford has not had the best of times at the club as he made just 27 appearances scoring a total of two goals and making three assists in the entirety of his appearance.

The striker joined Basaksehir on loan in September after being excluded from Forest’s 25-man Premier League squad for the first half of this season.
