The Red Devils took down the mural of Ronaldo which was outside the Old Trafford Stadium on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022. The decision came days after Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan was released on social media.
The Portuguese international accused the club of not being sincere with him and also accused some of the top board members of wanting to force him out of the club. However, a statement was released on the official website of the Manchester United just a few hours after the interview.
However, some reports are coming from Manchester, that the reason the meal is being removed is because of the Rugby World Cup that will be happening this weekend at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo also took a jab at his former teammate, Wayne Rooney and the interim manager of the club, Ralf Rangnick who was appointed after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
