A man expressed outrage after his longtime childhood friend of 15 years declined his request to serve as best man at his wedding.
The video posted by @skulrebelastic filmed the man feeling betrayed and emotional. He exclaimed that his friend denied him of being a best man to the extent that he was ashamed among the groomsmen.
In the clip, a furious argument emerged among the groomsmen when the groom turned down his childhood friend because he wasnât wealthy.
Speaking in Yoruba dialect, one of the groomsmen mentioned that he hadnât paid for his wedding attire, yet wanted to serve as a best man.
âBecause he is not wealthy, he was replaced as his best friend of 15 yearsâ best man. The friend claims he hasnât even paid for the wedding gown yet, but he still wants to be best manâ.
Enraged, he stormed out of the venue and refused to participate in the wedding ceremony.
