Antoine Griezmann has expressed his desire to extend his stay at Atletico Madrid, hinting it could be his last club in European football.
The 32-year-old who returned to the Spanish club two seasons ago, has become a vital player for the team and has emphasized his happiness at the club.
Griezmann’s current contract runs until 2026, but he has hinted at the possibility of discussing a new deal with the club.
“Yes, that’s what I said,” he confirmed to Diario AS. “I know that the club is in favour of being able to make an effort, and we will talk about it.
“Beyond Europe, what I would like later is the MLS, I have always recognized that. But Atletico will be almost one hundred percent my last club in Europe.
“It’s where I want to be, where I see myself happiest, and here I am at home,” the former Barcelona star added.
