Manchester United’s manager has reacted to Jadon Sancho’s loan move to transfer Borussia Dortmund until the end of this season (2023/24).

The Red Devils manager was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the league game against Tottenham Hotspur. He was asked about his opinion about the player’s move to the Bundesliga.

He said,

“I hope he’s doing well, so I wish him the best of good luck. That’s it. I hope he’s doing well and he’ll be a success at Borussia Dortmund”

Sancho completed his move to Dortmund on Thursday, January 11, 2024, after things broke between himself and Ten Hag. The England international has not played for Manchester United since August 2023 after he publicly debunked Erik Ten Hag’s reasons for dropping him from the squad for the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on September 3, 2023.

Sancho’s statement on X has since been deleted, but he has refused to apologise to Ten Hag both privately and publicly He has been training alone with United coaches and has been banned from the first-team canteen and dressing rooms at Old Trafford.
