Recall that the duo got engaged in October 2024 at Howard University’s homecoming celebration.

In a recent Instagram post, Angela White announced she had parted ways with Derrick Milano, while maintaining a positive relationship.

Despite the split, she believes God’s guidance is leading them on the right path as they continue their individual journeys.

However, Angela White didn’t disclose the circumstances surrounding their split.

Her post reads, “After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement. We love each other deeply and are still good friends, but we both believe that God’s guidance has shown us this is the right path for both of us as we continue each other’s journeys. May we find peace and fulfillment in his divine will. Trusting that his plan is greater for us”.

Billionaire heir, Kiddwaya faces criticisms as he requests donations to his foundation to help Benue victims.

It is no longer news that suspected fulani herdsmen had attacked the Yelewata community in Benue state, leaving scores of people dead.

The incident had sparked a widespread uproar among Nigerians in various parts of the nation.

Kiddwaya, who hails from Benue, took to his social media page to seek donations to his foundation, Kiddwaya Foundation, to help provide relief items for the victims of the attack.

“At the Kiddwaya Foundation, we are mobilizing resources to provide food, shelter, and essential support to those affected. But we can’t do it alone we need your help.” The Kiddwaya Foundation emphasized that although it has begun mobilizing resources, it cannot face the crisis alone. It called on individuals, institutions, and well-meaning Nigerians to contribute whatever they can be it ₦500 or ₦500,000 stressing that “every naira counts, every effort matters.

Whether it’s your platform, your voice, or your time donate, share, get involved. Let’s remind the world that Nigerians don’t abandon their own in times of need.”

Nigerian skit maker, Brain Jotter, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of legendary highlife musician, Mike ‘Gentleman’ Ejeagha, who passed away on Friday night after a battle with prostate cancer.

In an emotional Instagram post on Saturday, Brain Jotter shared a throwback video from his 2024 visit to the late icon’s home in Enugu.

The video captured the heartwarming moment between the content creator and the music veteran, whose song ‘Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo’ found renewed fame decades after its original release.

“39 years ago, he made magic (Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo song). 39 years later, we danced to it again. Now, he rests, but his melody lives forever. Rest in peace, legend,” Brain Jotter captioned the post, paying homage to Ejeagha’s enduring musical legacy.

Originally released in 1983, ‘Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo’ experienced a remarkable revival last year after Brain Jotter featured it in a viral dance challenge. The challenge captivated audiences across platforms, garnering over 29.1 million views and 30,000 comments on Instagram, and an additional 19.6 million views on TikTok.

In recognition of the late musician’s impact and to appreciate his work, Brain Jotter personally visited Ejeagha and presented him with a cash gift of ₦2 million during the visit.

Music star Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has once again expressed his frustrations with his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye, reigniting a long-running family feud that has played out in the public eye for years.

This latest round of accusations stems from a statement allegedly made by their lawyer, accusing Peter of lying in court. The singer lashed out, claiming that their publicist is working overtime to portray him as a liar.

In the process, he made a pointed remark stating, “I am not May D or Cynthia Morgan,” referencing other artists previously associated with his elder brother Jude’s record label, Northside Entertainment.

The mention of Cynthia Morgan did not go unnoticed. The dancehall artist, who had a public fallout with Jude years ago, slammed Peter in her Instagram story post.

Cynthia said she felt hurt that he would include her in his outburst after she had endured emotional distress with the Okoye family, with Peter allegedly among those who made her feel weak.

In response, Peter claimed he had offered her a contract in 2020, which she rejected after allegedly being misled into believing he was the “bad egg” in the family.

Muyiwa Awoniyi, the manager of the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, widely known as Tems, recounts how she rose to stardom from incredibly modest beginnings, with only ₦200 in her bank account when they met.

Muyiwa made the heartfelt revelation during a recent episode of the Afrobeats Intelligence podcast, where he recounted the early days of his friendship and eventual business partnership with the now globally celebrated artist.

“Back then when I was doing my podcast, she would just be sitting down while me and my cousin were talking. Obviously, she wasn’t financially buoyant in any capacity. When I met Tems, she only had about 200 Naira in her account,” Muyiwa shared.

Despite her financial struggles at the time, Muyiwa was struck by Tems’ generosity.

“If I had money, I would buy food. But another thing that shocked me was that even though she didn’t have money, she would order food for us. She didn’t even have a way of earning. So, I just realised that she is different from everyone I have seen in Nigeria,” he said.

Muyiwa recalled how her professionalism and desire to formalise their collaboration prompted him to propose something bigger than a standard management deal.

“When she asked me to be her manager, I agreed and said I would send her a contract to sign. We had already verbally agreed on everything. You know, when you present paperwork for artists to sign, it’s always tricky. But she was chasing me to sign my own part. And I have never experienced that before,” he explained.

“I was like, ‘You don’t mind signing paperwork? Hold on, let’s not do this. You’re someone I can rock with for life. Let’s start a company,’” Muyiwa added.

The two had been friends for three months before ever discussing work, but their shared vision and respect for each other laid the foundation for a powerful creative partnership, one that has since propelled Tems to the global stage, where she is now recognized as one of the leading voices in Afrobeats and R&B.

Famous American singer Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, has reportedly passed away at 70 in Los Angeles, following a brief illness.

This loss comes as Rihanna is expecting her third child with A$AP Rocky, a pregnancy revealed at the 2025 MET Gala.

According to reports, Ronald Fenty passed away on May 31, 2025, in Los Angeles, with Rihanna including her brother, Rajad Fenty, reportedly present at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center around the time of his passing.

However, Rihanna or her management team remain silent amid the swirling reports.
