Controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, otherwise known as Bobrisky, is currently in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex, Alagbon, Lagos State, where he spent the night in a cell at the police facility.

A source, who confirmed the development to our correspondent, said further directives were being awaited regarding Okuneye’s case, adding that he was taken to the FCID for safekeeping following his arrest by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service during his attempt to exit the country through the Seme border.

The source said, “Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday. Immigration arrested him at Seme Boarder and brought him for safekeeping.

“He is in detention at the FCID, Alagbon. He was arrested on Sunday, detained overnight, and taken to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 pm on Monday. He is still at the FCID.”

Confirming Okuneye’s detention, the spokesperson for the FCID, Lagos, Mayegun Aminat, during a conversation with our correspondent on Tuesday, said, “He is detained at FCID Alagbon. He is with us and we are to get a remand to keep him in custody today.”

PUNCH Online had reported that the spokesperson for the NIS, Kenneth Udo, in a statement on Monday evening, described Okuneye as a person of interest over recent issues of public concern.

“In keeping with its commitment to securing the borders, Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, otherwise known as Bobrisky at the Seme Border over an attempt to exit the country.

“He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action. The Service assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the country’s borders,” Udo said.

A man has recently been left shocked after a paternity test revealed that the pastor who officiated his wedding is the father of his two children.

A puzzling revelation,, which occured in Zimbabwe, has emerged involving a pastor from End Time Messages church in Chiredzi, who has been ordered to pay child support.

DNA tests confirmed that the pastor, Vhetu, is the biological father of two children born to Eunice Mururi, whose wedding to Farai Hatirarami he had officiated.

After the truth came to light, Mururi’s marriage to Hatirarami collapsed.

Mururi has now taken Pastor Vhetu to court, seeking $700 monthly child support for their 8-year-old and 4-year-old children.

Pastor Vhetu made a stunning admission in court, acknowledging he’s the father of two children with a woman whose wedding he officiated.

However, he’s now seeking a reduced child maintenance payment, citing irregular income from tithes and offerings, mostly received as food hampers rather than cash.

His lawyer, Farai Chauke, argued that Vhetu lacks a regular salary, limiting his ability to pay more than 150 ZiG per child.

Pastor Vhetu’s child support case has left the community reeling in shock.

Magistrate Diana Musiiwa deemed his offer of 150 ZiG per child as “insincere” and ordered him to pay $175 per month for both children instead.

Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, widely known as Seyi Law, has praised President Bola Tinubu for ending the fuel subsidy.

According to reports, during his inaugural address, President Tinubu announced the removal of the fuel subsidy, stating that the government could no longer sustain the long-standing practice of subsidizing Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as fuel.

Acknowledging the difficulties being faced by this action, Seyi Law maintained that it will ultimately serve the best interests of Nigerians.

The comedian pointed out that the fuel subsidy should have been eliminated sooner.

He remarked that had it been removed in 2012, during Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency—when the former opposition party, led by Tinubu, protested against it, Nigerians would have already been liberated from this financial burden.

“Fuel subsidy should have been long gone. If it had gone in 2012, we would have gone through the pain process, and by now, we would have been healing.

“In 2012, I was the only celebrity that went on stage to kick against the anti-fuel subsidy movement. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala came out to say that the nation could not afford to pay salaries,” Daily Post quoted the comedian saying in a recent interview.
