Nigerian stand-up comedian, AY Makun, has dragged online critics criticizing 2Face for announcing that he is getting a divorce from his wife.

2Face shook social media after he announced that he and his wife, Annie Idibia will be divorcing soon.

Amidst the back and forth on the marital crisis of 2Face, AY Makun has thrown his weight behind his colleague as he fires back at critics.

According to AY Makun, instead of blaming the couple facing their marital crisis, people should channel their energy on why the institution is under attack instead of blame to the couple facing their marital crisis.

He stated that no one plans to fail when entering into marriage. He lamented seeing “online in-laws”  and blogs revealing sensationalism at the expense of those involved in the issue.

He added that a lot of critics is prepared to drive their fellow humans to commit suicide with their comments and insults.

He wrote, “Instead of casting blame in broken marriages that you know nothing about, why not focus on the reasons why the institution itself is under attack? No one goes in with a plan to fail. It’s troubling to see online in-laws and blogs revel in sensationalism, often at the expense of those hurting. Real lives are involved—let’s choose empathy over drama and content.  Some of you will never rest until you lead a fellow human to suicide”.

Nigerian doctor and medical influencer, Chinonso Egemba popularly known as Aproko doctor, has replied man who said sleeping is a recipe for poverty.

Aproko doctor in a tweet on Wednesday, urged Nigerians to take their sleep seriously and ensure they have maximum rest time.

A tweep, Morris Monye, had in a tweet, expressed his dislike for people who are still asleep by 7 or 8am.

He stated, “Hate when I message people by 6am or 7am and they are still sleeping.

Too much sleep is a recipe for poverty.

However, reacting to this, Aproko doctor noted that little or lack of sleep leads to medical complications in the long run.

He stated that lots of people are suffering because of little sleep.

He wrote, “Abeg sleep o! Little sleep is a recipe for dementia in old age.

People are suffering because of little sleep.

Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti has set the internet ablaze after revealing that his sister lost over ₦50 million in cryptocurrency.

The revelation came in a video that has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter).

In the video, Kuti passionately voiced his frustrations, condemning cryptocurrency as a scam and accusing its promoters of exploiting the poor.

He described it as a scheme that transfers wealth from the poorest to the richest, likening it to gambling.

He said: “Crypto is a lie. You people are criminals trying to steal from poor people. It’s nothing but a wealth transfer from the poorest to the richest, just like gambling.”

“You all promote it, you push it, but it’s all about wealth transfer. You’re all part of this plan to shift wealth from the poor to the pockets of the rich.”

“There’s no freedom in crypto. More Africans have lost money to this than those who have made a profit from it.”

Kuti also shared the personal toll it has taken on his family, saying, “You know how much my sister has lost to crypto. I’ve been warning her, but she didn’t listen. I can’t even tell you how much I’ve lost—over ₦50 million. My sister, my own blood sister—this is how many Nigerians have lost millions.”

Verydarkman, Social media activist, has shared deep insights into why a police inspector died during a s*x marathon with a lady in an Abuja hotel.

Police Inspector Lawal Ibrahim was found dead at the Palasa Guest Inn in Gwagwalada, Abuja, during a s*x marathon with a lady he reportedly met online.

The pair reportedly engaged in sexual activity in the evening, throughout the night, and again in the early hours of the morning.

After the morning session, Inspector Lawal reportedly experienced breathing difficulties and became unresponsive.

All efforts to revive the police by his partner was futile.
