Cristiano Ronaldo is targeting a move to Chelsea despite a mouth-watering offer from Saudi Arabia side, Al-Nasr.

The 37-year-old is hoping to get an offer from the Premier League side before the end of the World Cup in Qatar.

Reports in Spain earlier last week say that the Portuguese has reached an initial agreement with the Arabian club over a deal worth €500 million (£432m).

Manchester United do not want Ronaldo back at Old Trafford after the World Cup owing to the 37-year-old’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus star was said to have been offered a two-and-a-half-year contract worth €200m (£173m) per season by Al-Nasr
