The Spaniard was given the award for Premier League save of the month for October 2022. The winner of the award was announced on the official website of the Premier League on Friday, November 11th, 2022.
Kepa won the award following his multiple saves in the Premier League game and his fantastic save from the feet of John McGinn in the game against Aston Villa at the Villa Park.
He broke into the first team since Graham Potter took charge of Chelsea following the sack of Thomas Tuchel. Kepa also has the highest save success in the Premier League since Potter came into the team.
