Some unknown gunmen have reportedly launched an attack on Akaleku village, Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, killing a newly wedded man and kidnapping his wife.
According to reports, the attack by the gunmen has caused fear and panic in the local community.

Reports from Vanguard states that an eyewitness revealed that the newly as fwedded couple was attacked by these assailants around 11pm in the late hours of Wednesday.
The assailants reportedly shot the man and kidnapped his wife identified as Mr. and Mrs. Alu Anzaku. The couple reportedly tied the knot on April 12, 2025.
The whereabouts of the kidnapped wife of the deceased is still not known yet as family and friends have expressed concern about her disappearance.

Afro-pop singer, Paul Okoye, widely known as Rudeboy, has reacted to the release of his elder brother, Jude Okoye, from police custody after 2 months of detention.
Recall that Jude Okoye was picked up and arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering of ₦1.38 billion.

Jude Okoye was arraigned in court and ordered to be remanded in the Ikoyi Correctional Facility until his bail hearing on March 3, 2025, with his trial set to commence on April 14, 2025.
A Lagos court presided over by Justice Alexander Owoeye later granted Jude Okoye bail while demanding two sureties, each valued at ₦100 million, and prohibited him from traveling outside the country.
He was however arrested a few hours after his bail.

A Man has taken to his page to share a video showing a block of flats which has been abandoned and allegedly belongs to a politician.
According to the man who shared the video, these block of flats was constructed over 10 years ago by the alleged politician.
The man disclosed further that the flats have been abandoned for over 10 years. He added that the alleged politician has refused to reduce the amount charged for the rent, hence the abandonment.
In his words;
“This house dem build am for over 10 years ago. Na somebody wey work for government. Instead of him to reduce the price of the rent or reduce the price he wants to sell it for, he just abandoned them here. Nobody lives in these flats. They are all laying abandoned.”
