With over 100 million views on Youtube, Kizz Daniel made sure to show up with one of his trademark dance moves.

2. Burna Boy – Last Last

Rolling Stone named “Last Last” the top Afrobeats song of 2022 on December 28. The song has broken many records and numbers since its release and currently stands at Burna Boy‘s biggest record.

This heartbroken hymn is not just understandable in a time when finding love seems to be a losing endeavor, but it is also a very excellent song.

Burna Boy uses the phrase “everyone go chop breakfast” from pop culture in his song “Last Last” to provide a fresh take on heartbreak. He takes a less emotive and more logical stance in this song.

The second song on his EP, Ololade Asake, featuring appearances from Burna Boy was titled “Sungba“. Like every other street song, Sungba is infectious and has unpolished lyrics. It often asks a woman to be less shy because he has the means to take care of her and, in exchange, she must “Sungbalaja.”
